Mauser Model 98, 8x57mm cal. bolt action sporter.   Serial #9504.  Good condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, ramp front sight, rear is missing.  Barrel and front receive ring have been polished bright.  Three drilled holes ahead of breech.  Receiver has very good finish behind front ring.  Trigger guard and floor plate have good original finish.  Walnut sporter stock has very good finish and checkering.  Hard rubber butt pad and spacer.  Leather sling in detachable swivels.  Bolt action works fine.  Nice gunsmithing project.  C&R OK.
