U.S. Springfield M22, .22 long rifle cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #14586, mfg. 1942.  Excellent condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore, correct front sight and Lyman receiver rear.  Barrel is stamped: “SA 8-42.” Barrel and receiver have excellent original military finish with crisp markings.  Trigger guard and floor plate are excellent.  Correct magazine.  Stock has excellent finish with some light marks.  Correct sling swivels.  Correct steel butt plate.  Bolt action works smoothly.  An excellent example!  C&R OK.
