U.S. Springfield 1903, .30-06 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #99575, mfg. 1905.  Very good condition.   Standard U.S. infantry issue during World War I. 24” barrel has very good bore with strong rifling.  ME is “2”.   Barrel is marked: “SA-05”.  Barrel and low-numbered receiver have very good original finish.  Bolt is later replacement.  Trigger guard and floor plate have very good finish with some corrosion.  Stock has very good finish with some handling hits.  Letters: “SADAL” stamped in left side.  Vintage leather sling.  Bolt action works smoothly.   Nice, early ’03!   C&R OK.
