Colt Model 1877 Lightning, .38 Long Colt cal. double action revolver.  Serial #129487, mfg. 1901.  Fair condition.  Matching serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard, barrel and cylinder.  Loading gate has a different number.  4 1/2" barrel has good rifling with some darkness and corrosion, fixed sights.  Basically, a gray gun with no remaining finish.  The action needs some work as the hammer will not stay cocked back.  Colt marked brown checkered hard rubber grips are in good shape with some areas of smoothness.  This Colt has seen some trail time, lots of history here.  Should be looked at by a gunsmith prior to firing.  C&R OK.
