British Enfield 1916 Sporter, .303 cal. bolt action rifle. Serial #39691, mfg. England. Fair condition. Started out its life as a 1916 British Enfield SHT LE III World War I military rifle with full-length stock that has now had its wood shortened and barrel turned down. Extra holes on the left side of the receiver from a side mount. No sights. Tight action. 24" sporter barrel is dark and will require a vigorous scrubout.
