Springfield Trapdoor Model 1884, .45-70 cal. single shot rifle.   Serial #491716, mfg. 1890.   Good condition.   33” barrel has strong rifling with some pitting.   Barrel and action have little remaining finish with surface corrosion. Lock plate and hammer have no remaining finish, crisp markings with some surface corrosion.  Stock has very good finish.  Nice inspector’s marks visible.  Lock works fine. Nice leather sling.  Antique, can ship to your door.
