Colt Lightning, .38 Colt cal. double action revolver.  Serial #142562, mfg. 1903.  Good condition.  Matching serial numbers.  4 1/2" barrel has a good bore with strong rifling and some pitting, high blade front sight.  98% re-blued finish with some pitting underneath areas of the finish and some dullness in the markings, but all are still legible.  The action cycles fine and locks up well.  Colt marked brown checkered hard rubber grips are in good shape with some hits and areas of smoothness.  An American icon of the old West!  C&R OK.
