U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 Carbine cal. military semi-auto.  Serial #270817, mfg. 1942 by Inland Motor Co.  Excellent condition.  Standard issue for U.S. officers during World War II. 18" barrel has an excellent bore, fixed eared front and adjustable rear military sights.  95% parkerized finish with general light even finish wear, no pitting. Smooth wood military stock and hand guard are excellent with one hit at the pistol grip.  Parts count:  barrel - Inland 2-43, front sight - unmarked, rear sight - P1,  barrel band assembly with bayonet lug - JMQ, flat bolt - AI, bolt carrier - P1, hammer - unmarked, trigger group - Inland, magazine release - M, safety selector - JAO, rear tang - SG, two rivet hand guard - unmarked, stock - RSG in the sling well and BA QAB in a box on the left side and circle P and 115 on the pistol grip .  Checkered steel butt plate.  Comes with one 15 round magazine.  This one likely saw service in WWII and beyond.
