Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 "Highway Patrolman", .357 magnum cal. double action revolver.  Serial #N590444, mfg. 1980.  Excellent condition.  6” pinned barrel has excellent bore, ramp front sight, micro-adjustable rear.  Barrel and frame have 96% bright blue finish, so I think this HP was reblued and then fitted with these upgraded smooth S&W monogrammed grips from another N-Frame.  Cylinder is 96% with index marks.  Some light muzzle wear. Hammer and trigger are nicely case colored.   Double action works fine and locks up solidly.  A nice shooter! Gunrunner West item.
