U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 Carbine cal. auto military. Serial # 2115611, mfg. Standard Products in 1943. A very nice M1 Carbine in very good condition. Standard issue to U.S. officers during WWII. 18” Underwood marked barrel has an excellent bore.  Parkerized finish is 75% with handing wear.  Stock and handguard are  "S-HB" marked and in very good condition - appears to have been lightly sanded at some point. "Crossed Cannon" stamp is nice and vivid.  Trigger housing , flat bolt, and slide are all “S” marked. Hammer is marked “W.I.” and the trigger is “R” marked. Action is nice and tight. A very nice piece of WWII history - a more scarce war time contractor. C&R OK.
