Smith and Wesson Model 1917 D.A.,  .45 acp cal. double action military revolver.  Serial #208387.  Excellent condition.  5 1/2" barrel has excellent bore.  Fixed military sights.  95% blue finish with some handling wear.   Matching serial number on cylinder and barrel.  Locks up nice and tight.   Brazilian Federal crest on the side with 1937 date.  Smooth wood grips are in very good condition.  Lanyard ring is present.  Small import mark on the underside of barrel.  1 of 25,000 ordered by Brazil for their military forces.  You can use .45 auto rim or .45 acp in half moon clips in this model.  Neat variation of the M1917 and one of the nicest condition ones we've seen.  C&R OK.
