U.S. Winchester M1917, .30-06 cal. bolt action military rifle. Serial # 455158, mfg 1917. Very good condition. Eddystone barrel is dated 11-17. Bore is a little dark with some frosting but the rifling appears sharp.The Eddystone marked stock is nice with a few hits and scratches and a small arsenal repair. R.I.A. and A.A.M. stamps are vivid. Stock also appears to have been lightly sanded and refinished. Bolt is Eddystone marked. Parkerized finish is 90% with some light handling scratches. A very nice solid example of a 100 year old Piece of History! C&R OK.
