Mauser K98 "S/243", 8mm cal. bolt action rifle. Serial #9941, mfg. Mauser in 1937. A very nice Russian capture with 95% matte blue with finish scratches.  24" barrel has an excellent shiny bore. Receiver ring is marked S/243 with three Nazi inspection stamps. Barrel is numbered to the receiver. Bolt and floor plate have been electro penciled and forced matched. Laminated stock is in very good condition and wears the typical reddish varnish applied by the soviets. Action is tight and smooth. Will make a wonderful shooter or great for reenactments. C&R OK.
