Colt Government Commercial Conversion, .22 long rifle cal. auto target pistol. Serial #302753-C, mfg. 1965. Very good condition. This is a 1965 Government Commercial .45 cal. frame with a Colt .22 Conversion top. There is not a spring installed and possibly other parts not present internally. Also missing is the original .22 Colt magazine - in its place is a plastic magazine labeled "17 Mach 2". Front grip strap has been stipled. Slide bluing is 99% and nice. 5" .22 barrel has an excellent bore. Jeweled hammer. Adjustable rear target sights. Blade front sight. Frame blue is 95% with some edge wear and triggerguard mark. Colt gold monogrammed wood grips are excellent. Not possible to see how the mechanics are. Possibly all it needs is a spring and you're ready to punch paper with the best! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
