Mosin Nagant Model M28, 7.62x54R cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #42174 on chamber and S109528 on the barrel, mfg. by Sako, Finland in 1935.  Good condition.  Matching bolt, floor plate renumbered but not matching.    27" barrel has strong rifling but has darkness and corrosion, fixed front sight with doubled eared protectors and adjustable rear military sights.  50% worn blue finish.  The chamber is blank, the top of the barrel is marked "S" in a gear wheel with "SKY", the serial number and a date of 1935.  The smooth wood furniture is in good shape with typical impressions and hits, and has carved initials in the right side of the stock.  Has a metal butt plate and comes with the cleaning rod.  Import marked on the barrel.  Well built military rifles.  C&R OK.
