FN Model 49, 8mm Mauser cal. semi-auto military rifle.  Serial #5279, mfg. FN in Belgium for Egypt.  Good condition.  23" barrel has strong rifling with darkness and corrosion, fixed front with double eared protectors and adjustable rear military sights.  70% blue finish with general finish wear.  Has multiple Egyptian markings.  Has a crown crest on the chamber.  Smooth wood military furniture is very good shape with some hits and impressions and an arsenal repair at the top rear of the stock and a filled-in crack at the top where the wood meets the receiver.  Brass disc in the right side of the stock and brass butt plate with trap door and has sling swivels.   Has one attached blue magazine that's in very good shape.  Import marked on the barrel.  C&R OK.
