Savage Model 14, .22 short, and long rifle cal. pump action rifle.  Serial #49784.  Fair condition.  24" octagon barrel has good rifling with darkness and corrosion, fixed front and adjustable rear sights.  The blue finish on the barrel has turned mostly patina with some wear, the receiver has 70% fading blue finish with some light scratches.  Ribbed wood forearm is fair to good with hits on the bottom.  The stock is broken in multiple places and detached where it meets the receiver and has some hits and wear.  Savage lined metal butt plate.  Good restoration project.  C&R OK.
