U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 cal. semi auto military.  Serial #4829933, mfg. 1944 by Quality Hardware.  Excellent condition. This is one of the most collectible World War II weapons. 18" barrel has an excellent bright shiny bore. Eared front post sight. Early style two position flip up rear peep hole sight.  Barrel is made by Underwood and dated 1-44. Receiver is mfg. by Quality H.M.C.in 1944.  The barrel band is unmarked.  95% parkerized finish with general light use wear. Parts list- Top rear of barrel - "P", trigger group - "BE-B", Flat bolt marked- "W", Adjustable rear sight - "GE-O", bolt carrier - "P" and "J", pistol grip bottom marked "RI 3", butt plate - starburst on the inside.  The back of the pistol grip and the leather on the stock are not marked.   The oiler is missing.  15 round magazine is marked - "B" and is in good condition.  The reproduction stock is in great shape and stamped "AAF" on the left, "FL" on the right, and "P" on the rear.  Green web sling is in good shape and unmarked.  A great M1 carbine, for your collection.
