Created pre-war for military training - same heft, weight and feel of its big .45 caliber brother. 4 3/4" barrel has an excellent bore. Tight action. Adjustable rear sights. Taller target front blade sight. Bluing is 95% with some fading on the inner grip strap. Checkered walnut grips are excellent. Two-tone hand-dipped blue magazine is excellent with markings on butt: "Colt ACE .22 LR". Wonderful specimen from the Depression era - pre-war. Crispy and correct! Wow! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
