Old gray warrior that has certainly rode the range out here in Wyoming! 7 1/2" barrel has good rifling, but pitting. Pit marks on right of barrel and ejector rod housing - barrel has been cleaned up and black pit marks left. Fixed sights. Marked on left side of barrel: "Colt Frontier Six-Shooter". Vivid patent dates on left side of frame with Rampant Colt. Vivid one-line barrel top address. Rampant Colt marked checkered hard rubber grips are fair/good with lots of smoothness. Matching serial numbers. Colt factory letter states correct configuration and states this revolver was one of three pieces that went to Hibbard, Spencer, Barlett & Company in Chicago on August 6, 1894.
