US Springfield Model 1894, .30-40 Krag cal. bolt action military rifle. Serial #16419, mfg. 1895. Antique. Very good condition. 30" barrel has an excellent shinny bore. Pined blade front sight. Adjustable ladder rear sight. Blue finish on the barrel is 80% with some fading to the top. Receiver blue is 40% with some fine oxidation to the top rib. Grooved walnut stock and handguard are in great shape with some slight handling marks to the buttstock. Steel buttplate is grey with trapdoor compartment. Cleaning rod is missing.
