Savage 1899, .30-30 cal. lever action saddle ring carbine. Serial #74897, mfg. 1907. Excellent condition. 20" barrel has an excellent shiny bore. Rocky Mountain blade front sight. Lyman folding receiver tang peep sight. Blue finish on the barrel is 99%+. Blue finish on the receiver is 60% with some fading. Brass cartridge counter and a saddle ring on the left side. Case color on the lever action is 85%. Smooth American walnut stock steel buttplate is in great shape with some light hunting marks. Great example of a Savage 99 saddle ring carbine from 1907!
