U.S. Army Model 1917, .45 acp cal. double action revolver. Serial #26645, mfg. 1917 by Smith & Wesson. Excellent condition. Tremendous World War I U.S. officer's sidearm with 99% blue! Wow! Excellent specimen with 5 1/2" barrel, excellent bore and nice smooth walnut grips. Lanyard loop. Matching serials number. 1908 patent date on barrel top. 5-screw large frame. Fixed rear sight. Tall half moon front sight. Case-colored hammer and trigger. Model on butt.
