England for Australia.  Good condition.  26" barrel has a very good bore, no sights  Fitted with a Weaver 6.5-20x44mm scope with a duplex reticle and clear optics.  Redfield scope mount.  90% blue re-finish with some pitting underneath the finish on the receiver.  The barrel, is unmarked.  The receiver is marked with the BSA logo and "Commonwealth of Australia, VIC and 16844" on the right side of the receiver.  Jeweled bolt.  The action operates fine.  Smooth wood forearm is in good shape with hits and impressions.  The smooth wood stock is in good shape with hits and impressions and is marked on the right side with the "Commonwealth of Australia, Victoria in a circle and also is stamped with #16844."  Has a steel butt plate.  C&R OK.
