Remington Model 03-A3 Sporter, .30-06 cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #35667760, receiver mfg. in 1942, barrel mfg. 1944.  Good condition.  24" R.A. barrel is marked with a flaming bomb proof and "5-44."  Fixed front and adjustable rear military sights.  Has a decent bore with some darkness and corrosion.  "R" marked bolt with modified bolt handle.  85% matte blue military with light wear.  The action works great.   Modified clear coated wood military furniture is in good shape with wear and some hits and dings.  The front has been cut down and rounded and a rubber butt pad added.  No visible markings on the stock.  Rear sling swivel assembly has been removed.  C&R OK.
