Jap Arisaka Type 99, 7.7 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #18786, mfg. Nagoya Arsenal, Japan.  Excellent condition.  26” barrel has n excellent shiny bore.  Barrel and receiver have 85% original military finish with some fading to the top of the receiver. Matching serial number on the bolt.  Crisp markings with “Mum” defaced.  Correct rear sight with “anti-aircraft wings”.  Grooved stock has excellent finish with some war marks as expected from a service rifle and correct hardware.  Wire monopod and original web sling is present. Bolt action works fine – an excellent example of a Type 99”.  C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
