Description
Webley Mk. VI, .38/200 cal. top-break military revolver. Serial #U2573, mfg. England. Excellent condition. 5" barrel has an excellent bore. Blade front sight. Square cut rear sight. Parkerized finish is 95% with some slight pitting and oxidation on the right side of the barrel. Top break and ejection action works perfectly. Ribbed walnut grips are in great shape. Lanyard loop. The .38 caliber Webley was developed for the conscripted troops, the brass thought a smaller bullet would be easier to handle for troops with less training. Interesting piece from WWI. Gunrunner West item.
