U.S. Colt Model 1917 .45 acp. cal. double action military revolver.  Serial #121803.  Good condition.  "U.S. Army" model. 5 1/4" barrel has very good bore with strong rifling, fixed military sights.  Last patent date on barrel is 1905.  "U.S. Army" with model and serial on butt. Barrel and frame have 70% parkerized finish with numerous light scratches over the frame, cylinder and barrel.  Cylinder has edge wear and index marks.  Smooth wood grips are in very nice condition.  Lanyard ring is present.  Crisp markings on barrel and bottom of frame.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  Shoots with half or full moon clips. A nice piece of WWI military history!  C&R OK.
