Remington Model 12CS, .22 Rem. Special (.22WRF) cal. slide action rifle.  Serial #617810.  Very good condition.  24” octagonal barrel has excellent bore with 80% blue and crisp address markings.  Correct open sights with two extra holes drilled in barrel.  Receiver and trigger guard have 50% blue with heavy carry wear.  Stock and forearm have very good original finish with some grip wear and light handling marks.  Correct butt plate has little finish. Fitted with Lyman folding peep sight correct for this model.  Slide action works fine.  A rare version of this excellent slide action.  C&R OK.
