Rast & Gasser Model 1898 8mm  double action revolver.  Serial #156037, mfg. Austria.  Very good condition.  4 1/2" barrel has very good rifling with some darkness and pitting, fixed military sights.  Barrel has 70% blue finish with some muzzle wear and crisp markings.  All matching numbers.   Frame has 60% blue with some light scratch marks on right side.  Wood checkered grips are in good condition.  Lanyard ring present.   Action works perfectly and locks up tightly.  Non-original holster in fair shape with torn leather strap and pouch.  Neat piece of Austrian military history.  Rarely seen.  Antique – can ship to your door.
