U.S. M1 Carbine, .30 cal. semi-auto military. Serial #1772642, mfg. in 1943 by Irwin-Pedersen. Excellent condition. Standard U.S. officer's issue during World War II. The rarest and most sought-after U.S. contractor for the WWII Carbines and this one is a collector's dandy! 99% gun with excellent bore. Parkerization is 99% and wonderful. Parts count: Irwin-Pedersen receiver, Underwood barrel dated "2-43", trigger assembly "IP", op rod "IP", hammer "SG", safety "IP-A", magazine catch "IP-W", front sight "IPN", bolt "S'G'", sear "SW-IP", trigger "SG", rear catch "IPW", sight base "B-IP" (right/left), stock "RS", handguard "RSG" and 15-rd. magazine in gun is "I-P-K". "SG" with "Flaming Bomb" ordnance stamp on right side of buttstock. Flip-up rear sight. Flat front swivel is unmarked. 1943 canvas muzzle cover is Kanac Co. Magazine pouch on buttstock is "USMC Boyt 45" with two 15-rd. magazines marked "SP-SG" and "K-SG". Green web sling and oiler. This is a top-drawer/blue-chip collector.
