Description
German Luger, Code 42, 9mm cal. auto military pistol. Serial #632(l), mfg. 1939. Excellent condition. Standard issue for Nazi officers during WWII. 98% blue is outstanding with sharp markings. Matching serials except for extractor (see photo). 4" barrel has an excellent shiny bore. Dated "1939" on the chamber ring. "42" on toggle. Walnut checkered grips are very good with some impressions and have a Nazi proof mark on the inside of the right panel. Aluminum bottomed magazine is in very good condition - non-matching. Also included is a WWI wood-bottomed magazine in the holster - good condition has had some clean-up has "Germany" in the wood. Frame is slotted for a shoulder stock. Three Nazi acceptance stamps on right side of frame which is correct for the military version. Imported marked on the bottom of the matching barrel. Includes original 1939 dated brown leather belt holster marked on back: "R. Ehrhardt Possneck" with Nazi stamp - good to very good condition. Includes stripper tool and the second magazine. Dandy rig! Great investment piece. Much Nazi WWII history here! C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
