Weatherby Mark V, .300 Weatherby magnum cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #P7316, mfg. Sauer, Germany.  Very good condition.  24” barrel has excellent bore.  Barrel and receiver have 90% original blue with a few light rub marks on barrel.  Trigger guard and floor plate are excellent with light edge wear.  Bolt has some old oil discoloration and light handle wear.  Classic Weatherby “California-style” stock has very good original finish with some handling hits and dings, excellent skip-line checkering and Weatherby recoil pad.  Fitted with classic Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A 2.5x-8x variable scope with tapered cross hairs and clear optics – the best in its day!   Includes well-worn leather sling.  A classic big-game outfit from Weatherby’s “Golden Era”.  The favorite of John Wayne and Chuck Yeager!
