Colt Model 1911 World War I 2nd Battle of the Marne Commemorative, .45 cal. automatic pistol.  Serial #6776-M2, mfg. 1967.  Unfired condition.  5” barrel has mint bore.  Slide and frame have 100% high polish blue with WW1 battle scene on left side and WW1 Commemorative script on right side.  Textured French Holly wood grips have Army medallion on right side and US Eagle and 2nd. Battle of the Marne medallions on left side.  Wooden display case is in excellent condition with couple light rub marks, and contains a comprehensive history of the 2nd Battle of the Marne engagement.   One of a matched set of four.  The finest set we’ve seen!  C&R OK.
