British 12 ga. percussion, side by side shotgun.  NSN, mfg. Birmingham, unknown maker.  Good condition.  29 ¼” barrels of London Fine Twist have clean bores as far as can been seen.  Proof marks indicate build between 1855-1878.  Barrels have no remaining finish on outside.  Front-action locks have attractive scroll and game engraving, beautiful dolphin nose hammers, no remaining finish.  Right side percussion nipple is broken.   Trigger guard and tangs are fully engraved with scroll and game birds, no remaining finish.  Stock has good remaining finish with strong checkering.  Steel butt plate has no finish and is heavily corroded.  Locks cock nicely.  An elegant old girl from the past!
