U.S. Springfield-Krag Model 1898, .30-40 cal. bolt action military rifle.  Serial #196991.  Excellent re-finished condition.  30” barrel has very good bore with strong rifling.  Barrel, trigger guard and receiver have been 100% re-blued.  Bolt has been polished bright.  Stock has been nicely re-finished, cartouche still faintly visible.  Action works beautifully, of course.  Nice old military leather sling.  A good shooter.  C&R OK.
