Savage Model 1906, .22 cal. slide action rifle.  Serial #96118.  Good condition.  24” octagonal barrel has excellent bore.  Hooded pin front sight, open rear and Lyman folding tang.  Barrel and receiver have 60% original deep blue, thinning on receiver.  Stock has classic Savage “perch belly” lines with 40% original varnish.  Correct 10-shot magazine.  Slide action works fine.  Beautifully-made early 20th Century slide action!  C&R OK.
