Argentine Model 1927 (1911A1), .45 cal. auto military pistol. Serial #40345, mfg. 1947 in Argentina. Very good condition. Produced in Argentina, this 1911A1 look-alike was done on Colt machines. Bluing is 90% with carry marks. Black checkered grips are very good. Blue magazine is marked "Colt .45 auto" with matching serial number etched into the bottom. Marked "D.G.F.M - (F.M.A.P.)" on left side of slide. On right side of slide: "Ejercito Argentino Sist. Colt Cal. 11.25mm Mod. 1927". Matching frame/slide/barrel/magazine. 5" barrel has a very good shiny bore. Tight action. Fixed sights. Checkered back strap. Very nice piece and a must for all Colt collectors! C&R OK.
