Smith & Wesson Military & Police, .38 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #S837961, mfg. 1947.  Very good condition.  5” pinned barrel has excellent bore, fixed sights with crisp address markings.  Barrel and frame have 95% parkerized finish with light rub marks and some surface corrosion.  Cylinder has 97% parkerized finish with index marks.  S&W checkered walnut grips are very good with a few hits.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  In original gold box with cleaning road, instructions and hang tag. Nice piece!
