Colt Detective Special, .38 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #552665, mfg. 1950.  Very good condition.  Nice early production Detective Special. 2” snubnose barrel has excellent bore, fixed sights.  Barrel and frame have 93% original blue with muzzle and edge wear.  Frame has some very light scratch marks on right side.   Cylinder is 90% with edge and index wear.  Colt checkered plastic grips are excellent.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  Collectible Detective Special!  C&R OK.
