Smith & Wesson .38/44 Outdoorsman Model of 1950, .38 Special cal. double action revolver.  Serial #S98112, mfg. 1953.  Excellent condition.  6 ½” pinned barrel has excellent bore. Partridge front sight and micro-adjustable rear.  Barrel and frame have 90% original blue with slight muzzle and edge wear.  Cylinder is 90% with index marks.  Case colored hammer and trigger are excellent.  S&W magna grips are excellent.  Double action works fine and locks up tightly.  A big, massive .38 that would make Dirty Harry proud!  Rarely seen!  C&R OK.  Includes nice laminated fact sheet.
