Winchester Model 42 Field, .410 ga. pump action shotgun. Serial #132583, mfg. 1958. Beautiful late production Model 42 with 98% blue, 26" plain barrel and the rarer Improved Cylinder choking. Very good bore. "Fat" forearm. Buttstock has just a few marks - two near wrist. Good tight action. Making serial numbers. The only detraction is four lightly etched numbers (see photo) on the bolt side - these could easily be polished out and a nick under the forearm. Vivid proof stamps. A real Prom Queen! C&R OK.
