A rare variant of the '03 with 24" High Standard match barrel, barrel band, Lyman rear target peep sight and short grooved forearm. Excellent bore. HS barrel is so marked and is dated "8-44". Bolt is not serialed. Parkerization is 98% and nice! Checkered steel buttplate. Vivid markings. Lyman rear target sight. High blade front banded sight. Walnut stock has the correct "square" pistol grip cap. Sling swivels. Looks like a real shooter! Seldom seen. C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
