Weatherby Vanguard, .308 cal. bolt action rifle.  Serial #00443, mfg. Japan.  Excellent condition.  22” barrel has excellent bore, no open sights.  Barrel and receiver have near 98% deep blue.  Alloy trigger guard and floor plate have 80% blue finish with edge wear.  Weaver scope bases fitted.  Claro walnut stock has excellent high gloss finish and nice figure with several light handling dings.  Bolt action works fine.   These are known to shoot very well – the “poor man’s Mark V”.
