U.S. Springfield Krag Model 1896, .30-40 cal. bolt action military rifle.   Serial #45278, mfg. 1896.  Antique. Very good condition.  30” barrel has good bore with slightly worn rifling.  Correct 1892 rear sight.  Barrel and receiver have very good old finish with lots of dried oil.  Crisp markings.  Stock is very good with few hits and dings, no cartouche visible.  Very good hardware.  Action works fine – typical Krag.  1896’s are rarely seen!  Antique – can ship to your door.
