U.S. Smith & Wesson "Victory", .38 Special cal. double action military revolver. Serial #V278180. Very good condition. A WWII "Victory" model that was converted by Cogswell & Harrison on England by shortening the barrel to 3 1/2", fitting a ramp front sight, blue finish, rechambering to the longer and more useful .38 Special and fitted with checkered wood grips. Lanyard loop has been retained. "GHD" arsenal marks on butt. Matching serial on barrel, cylinder and frame. Looks like a good shooter or re-enactment piece. C&R OK. Gunrunner West item.
