Colt Model 1849 Pocket Model, .31 cal. percussion single action revolver.  Serial #217741, 1862. Civil War.  Fair condition – all matching serial numbers.  5" octagonal barrel has dark and pitted bore.  Barrel, loading rod and cylinder have been stripped to bare metal.   Barrel address is good.  Frame and hammer have 40% finish turning patina with some light corrosion.  Brass trigger guard and straps are in good shape with light corrosion.  Smooth wood grips good with little finish left.
