U.S. M1 Garand, .30-06 cal. auto military rifle.  Serial #3284046, mfg. by Springfield Armory in 1944.   Good condition.  Standard GI issue for U.S. troops during WWII.  Springfield barrel dated "10-44". Bore is good rifling show some wear and light pitting. M.E.  2.5 and the T.E. is 2.5 . Stock is "R.I.A." marked and in good condition with expected field hits. SA trigger group, op-rod and bolt.  Parkerization is 70% finish is worn from handling.  Good tight action.  A solid old Garand perfect for restoration! Lots of U.S. military history here! C&R OK.
