SKB XL900, 12 ga. auto shotgun.  Serial #S2115809, mfg. Japan.  New unfired in box.  26” vent rib barrel has mint bore and 100% blue.  2 ¾” chamber, choked IMP CYL.  Receiver has attractive silver side panels with etched game bird scenes.  Stock and forearm have 100% glossy finish and extensive checkering.  Gun was originally purchased by Col. Rex. Applegate, famous in WWII for his work with the Office of Strategic Services and bodyguard for Roosevelt.  Documentation included describing Col. Applegate’s WWII services.  Also included is original shipping box with Col. Applegate’s address.  Gun remains unfired.  Interesting piece for a WWII collector!
