Remington 1889 Grade 2, 12 ga. side by side hammer gun.  Serial #100706.  Very good condition.  28” twist steel barrels have clean bores without pitting.  Twist figure is excellent with crisp markings.  Pellet counts are 336 in right barrel, 338 in left.  Receiver is mostly faded with traces of case color, more in protected areas, with crisp markings.  Action bottom screws are slightly dinged.   Stock and forearm have very good original finish and checkering with minor handling marks.  Stock has been cut and solid rubber recoil pad added.  LOP is 14”.  Locks work perfectly and gun locks up tightly.  A really exceptional Remington hammer gun!   Antique – can ship to your door!
